Under the motto “Shaping the Future through Research and Technology,” the conference “Applied Research for Defence and Security in Germany” took place in March 2026. Trout enriched the program of Germany’s most important research conference for defense and security. The aim is to strengthen innovative capacity and the relevant research, consistently aligning it with the future needs of the German Armed Forces and equipping them with the best possible technology. The photos show Martin Bussas giving a presentation on structure-borne sound analysis and at the booth of the Technical University of Dresden, Chair of Internal Combustion Engines and Drive Systems, with Prof. Dr.-Ing. Frank Atzler, Dr.-Ing. Tilo Roß, and Dr.-Ing. Stephan Rother. There was general agreement that internal combustion engines remain indispensable in certain application areas.

Enforce Tac 2026: Germany’s Leading Trade Fair for Security and Defence in Nuremberg

Enforce Tac is more than just a trade fair – it’s the central platform where decision-makers, innovators, and thought leaders from government, industry, and society come together, united by the common goal of making Europe safer. Innovative approaches and bold initiatives are transformed here into forward-looking strategies and ready-to-use solutions.

TROUT presented its VeDAS vehicle data acquisition and analysis system at its own booth.

On the main stage, Martin Bussas spoke about structure-borne sound analysis for fault detection in military wheeled vehicles. Another highlight was undoubtedly the reception hosted by the Bavarian State Chancellery for Federal Affairs and Media, presented by Dr. Florian Herrmann (Member of the Bavarian Parliament), at Kaiserburg Nuremberg.
